About Me
Many people have asked me why'd you call your business Wax and 40 Lashes? Because when I was working for other spas, waxing off hair and glueing on lashes is my bread and butter. I was 40 years old when I finally grew up and decided to become an esthetician, thus came the name Wax and 40 Lashes. Before that, I've been a food service handler, barista, I've joined the US Army reserves and worked as an operating room technician, I was a college student, orthodontist's assistant and my most favorite job is being your esthetician! I love the creativity and freedom I have being a solo esthetician and I fancy myself as a bit of an artisté.
My passion is to make you feel good about yourself, drawing out the beauty that is already within you, so you can show the world! Beauty = confidence, if I have achieved that, then my mission is accomplished.

Introducing our 1st staff member of Wax and 40 Lashes, Rowan Anderson! Rowan is not only our esthetician’s apprentice, she is also Jenny’s most favorite daughter. Rowan is currently attending Atarashii esthetician school, and is being trained personally by the best of the best, Jenny herself.
Rowan is now qualified to wax, sugar off any unwanted hair, as well as lift and tint lashes and eyebrows and gives amazing facials using our favorite Korean skincare products.
